Dear Knight of Alba, Dear Commandeur de Bordeaux,

We’re pleased to invite you for a joint event of the Knights of Alba and the Commanderie de Bordeaux aux Pays Bas, hosted by Noël Vanwittenbergh, Knight of Alba and Commandeur de Bordeaux.
The purpose of this special event is to strengthen the bonds of friendship between our two delegations and to deepen our shared knowledge of the wines of Bordeaux and Piedmont. In particular, we shall explore Left Bank and Right Bank Bordeaux in comparison with Barolo and Barbaresco, accompanied by local delicacies and carefully selected cheeses.
The event will take place at Fort Zuidwijkermeer, now known as the Kaasfort. The fort has been extensively restored and redeveloped as a centre devoted to cheese. Various cheeses are matured, processed, and stored within the fort itself, making it an unique destination for lovers of gastronomy.
As only 60 seats are available – 30 for each delegation – we kindly ask you to confirm your attendance by 12 August.
